After growing up in Medina, Ohio, Serena wandered the world looking for a place to make her home. She met Daniel in Tampa, Florida, February of 1997 and married the following November in Columbus, Ohio. They started their family in 2000 with one little boy.

Serena worked as a preschool teacher and early childhood music educator while partnering with Daniel in ministry at several different churches in the Columbus area.

In 2003 the adventure continued in Jordan, Ontario for their first full-time ministry. They left Canada after nearly four years with two more little girls.

Serena and her husband, Daniel, moved to Chillicothe the summer of 2006 with those three kids to be part of a church plant.

In twenty years, the church and, as you can see the family has grown too.

Serena found her home in the hills of southern Ohio. She loves being part of the community and the revitalization the historic downtown that The Captivating Collective calls home.
